SUMP PACKAGE LUREFOB POSTAL SUSPECTSj Helps Trap Two Alleged Members of Gang Which Raided Country Postoffices.■ ii ■ ii • ii ■■ • mTwo men, who gave their names as Thomas Moran and Frank McGraw, were arrested at the point of a gtu* 2a the Adams Express offioe at Coal port Friday evening, when they called to get a pack* age containing ftOO worth of stamps . which hadj been taken from the poet* offioe at Winburne, Clearfield comity, when it was robbed last month. The arrests wer^ made by Post-office Inspector L. F. Johnson, Bargees John Leig and Constable $raak Spangle.On the o%ht of May i y eggmen blew open the $afe at Winborne poetoffioe and secured |800 worth of booty, half of which was Sin postage stamps of different denominations. Inspector Johnson was pot on the case, and traced the burglars to New York city and Wilmington, Del. He learned there that the stamps had been shipped to Coalport, Clearfield county, by express, and hurrying to that point, was in time to intercept the alleged robbers as they called for the package. A third man managed to escaped.The postoffice officials regard the capture of Moran and McGraw as a most important one, as they are believed to be the ringleaders of the gang that has robbed many country postoffices in western Pennsylvania in the last six months. The men were given a hearing before United States Commissioner O'Loughiin and held in $1,000 bail for United States court.
