HELD ON MURDER CHARGEnrJoseph Neal, Of Hymera, Arrested Fora Recent Murder.Joseph Neal, a coal miner, 46 years J old, whose residence is Hymera, is in jail at Sullivan charged with the murder of Steve Liston, of Shelburn, several weeks ago. About tbe 20th of May, a body, which could not be identified, was found in the river near Hut-sonville, with marks on it which would lead to the belief that the man had met with foul play.The body was burled, but was-takenup two weeks later and identified as that of Steve Liston, by his relatives. About the time Liston was killed ordrowned, he, together with Joseph Neal and Joseph Jones, went to the river on a fishing trip. Friends and relatives of Liston believe he was killed and swore out a warrant against Neal, which was served by the Hymera marshal yesterday and Neal was brought to Sullivan by Sheriff Miller yesterday evening. There seems to be no direct. evidence against Neal, who claims that! Liston left the - party, and he knows) nothing of who the man was killed. IIISamuel W.
