FATHER, 55, OF 13 SHOT DEAD BY UNKNOWN FOEALBION, Julv 2 (/?) — A 55-year-old father of 13 was killed by a shotgun blast early today as he was driving home from work.The victim, William Larson of Waterport, was found slumped ! back of the wheel of his automobile shortly after midnight. State Police said he was struck | from dose range.The vehicle rested partly in a ditch and against a tree south of Albion. The headlights still were glowing dimly.Capt. James B. Lynch and Inspector Harold L. Kemp of the State Police barracks in Batavia said Larson wras an attendant at the Veterans hospital in Bativia. He went off duty at 11 p. m. last rtight.Orleans County Sheriff Carl G. Kleindienst said no motive had been established.“It certainly wasn’t robbery,” he said.'“Everything on him was intact.”
