Dedicate Vase Sunday At Zanesville Baptist ChurchA beautiful vase, presented by Miss Mary I. Jones of Huchow, Chekiang, China, to the Market Street Baptist church, Zanesville, was formally dedicated at the worship service last Sunday morning at 10:30 o’clock. It is to perpetuate the memory of her mother, Mrs. R. M. Jones who for many years was a faithful member of the church, actively engaged in the work of the Women’s Missionary society and a member of the Bible classI - - - - - —taught by Mrs. Lucy Nevitt.The vase is the product of a Chinese artisan and made of brass, nickel plated and bearing the message of presentation in Chinese characters. Mrs. Minnie Jones Morrison of Granville, Miss Anna Lee Jones of Rabun Gap, Georgia, and Mrs. Charles Conner of New Concord are also daughters of Mrs. Jones.The State Guernsey Cattle Breeder’s picnic was held at Pen Villa farm ; Wednesday. Mr. J. O. Jobe is man-I ager of the farm.
