Metallurgistsw ill testifyin Flynn trialLOS ANGELFS. (INS). The fourth and probably final week of j the trial of screen star Krrol Flynn on charges he attacked two teenage girls will open Monday with the testimony of two metallurgists concerning the lock on the door of the ‘blue room” in which Betty Hansen, 17, said she was attacked, defense counsel disclosed Saturday.Jerry Giesler, chief defense attorney, said he would call the metallurgists as sur-rebuttal witnesses to clear up questions raised by state’s attorneys who brought the ivory door into court as anexhibit.Sgt. Leland Jones, police chemist, testified the lock on the door, taken from the home of British sportsman Fred MeFvoy, showed striations which he believed were caused by a file.Under cross examination^ Jones admitted he was unable to state whether the lock had been filed recently or “as long as ten years ago.”Defense witnesses testified earlier that the lock had not been working for many months, and did not work last Sept. 27, the night Miss Hansen said Flynn went to the door and she “heard a click.”Flynn, however, testified in his own behalf that he never was in the room with the girl.It was understood that the prosecution had concluded its rebuttal testimony pertaining to charges
