mg at me university at ^nicago.tWapello comity is aroused over the theft of Chief Wapello’s bones from their burial place in a neglected spot at the village of Agency, east of Ottumwa. The robbery of the chief tan's grave is being probed 'by authorities. Chief Wapello was laid to rest on the burial plot of the old Indian agency farm, and reposed beside the graves of some of the early white settlers of the county.
