8UIHG POE DAMAGES.lt;A Phoenix Woman Asks the Centralfor Ton Thousand*Justice Williams and a jury heard the esse of Kittle E. Bowley, of Phoenix, against the New York Central •Railroad Company at Syracuse yesterday. February 4th, 1893, there was an accident on the Pbaenix division of the company^ road about a mile and a half North of Woodard and near Three Rivets. A passenger car went down the embankment and Conductor Collins was obliged to crawl out through a window,the witnesses 6ald. The plaintiff was in the car and she brings salt for damages for injuries received at that time. Besides numerous outward bruises and contusions there are alleged to have been internal injuries, and} damages are placed at 510,000. The negligence of the Central, which leases the R. W. 0., is alleged in allowing the roadbed to remain in saoh poor condition as to cause the accident. M. E. Driscoll and Reilly Ludding-ton appear for the plaint!ff, and ex-Senator Hiscoqk ffbd George Doheny for the railroad.'The case was given to the jury this morning.
