Reilly neglected to do this. He has left the city and 110 trace can be found of his present whereabouts. It is, however, stated that Keilly admitted that he tried to bite Ziegler’s thumb when Ziegler was arresting hint, and declared that he was sorry he did not injure Ziegler. Marshal Hhurdein, it is understood, was anxious to have the case impartially investigated by the justice, but in the absence of Keilly he could not do anything further in the matter.
