Gudenkaufis arrestedA Monticello man, Larry Gudenkauf, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 19, and charged with stabbing a Monticello teenager, Randy Schilt, Saturday morning, Jan. 15.Schilt was slashed with a weapon other than a knife according toJones county attorney Steveā¦173National and State Awards forNewspaper ExcellenceLocher, across from the Showroom lounge in the vicinity of the post office building at about 2 a.m. Jan. 15.Gudenkauf was charged with assault to inflict great bodily injury and was held in the Jones county jail until Friday, Jan. 21, when $1,500 full surety bond was posted.A preliminary hearing will be held at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 14 in Monticello city hall.
