WHEREAS, it became apparent, during these two years, that tjie civi authorities were unable to deal effectively with this situation; AND WHEREAS, the matter was taken in hand by a determined delegation of men representing the citizens who live in the territory served by said railroad • ANDWHEREAS, the results achieved have been so successfrl and satisfactory, and, as we believe, so full of promise for the future operations of the railroad, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members ofthe Rotary Club of Harrison, BooneCounty, Arkansas, do hereby publicly commend the action of the “CITIZENS COMMITTEE” in obtaining evidnce, confessions, and other data, which has resulted in bringing to justice a number of the culprits guilty of said depredations.THE ROTARY CLUB.
