Middleton Held Under $20,000 Bond.East Las Vegas.—The hearing or John D. Middleton on a writ of habeas corpus proceedings was held with Judgo David J. Leahy, presiding. Middleton Is charged with the murder of two deputy sheriffs. Molses Barela and Francisco A. Serna, whom ho killed at bis home near Santa Rosa. November 27, when they attempted to arrest him. It is believed (hat friends of Middleton in Santa Rosa will help to furnish his bond, which Judge Leahy fixed at |20,000.
