They stated that Pappas was singing to the strainsof a melodeon. and that he was asked to stop singing by Nardone, who was anxious to do some singing himself. As he did not stop, .the men came to blows, but were quickly separted by their compatriots, and that while they were being-held apart. Xardone drew a 32-caHbre revolver from his pocket. He fired a single shot into Pappas* abdomen, then replaced the gun in his hip pocket and left the house. He isstill at large.A man was late yesterday arrested of Brimley, Mieh„ on suspicion of being Guieeppe Nardone, the Italian wanted on a charge of having caused the :death of Sllke Pappas. He wis seen by Provincial Constable Connors who ordered his release after assuring’ himself that he was not the man wanied.
