SUIT ’KINNEY CO.placed upon the stand for the defense and was still testifying at the hour of adjournment, 3 o’clock p. m. The sessions will be resumed tomorrow at 9:30 o'clock a. m.To say the records were valuable goes without saying, as it gives the Mary McKinney's own figures as to the value of the ore taken out of the disputed territory, and from the documents, the disputed ore ran in the neighborhood of 15.000 tons with a valuation of around $60 to the ton, which very nearly reaches the million dollar mark.Special to Sijndav fiazetln and Trlegrnpu.CRIPPLE'CREEK, Jan. 21.—J. W. Price, formerly a shift boss on ihe Mary McKinney mine, has repudiated an affidavit he gave some two years ago at Colorado Springs relative to the amount and value of ore which had been extracted from the Mary McKinney mine and over which the Mary McKinney and the Morning Glory are now'contesting before referees. He states that he gave the original affidavit under coercion and misleading information. This statement made by Price created quite a sensation here. The Mary McKinney people will try to establish the fact that but 15,000 tons of ore were taken out by them, the average value of which was $20 per ton. Price's records and statements which he secured white in the employ of the Mary McKinney company, apparently prove that the orewas at least worth double and pro\ably triple that amount.J. F. Hadley of Cripple Creek, was a guest at the Alta Vista yesterday.
