Damicl Ricketts, charged with partici-paling in tho robbery'1 of Robert Rickeits, r.ear this place on the 09th of December last, was examined before the Mayor of our city last week; the examination occupying in alj five or six days and being closed lay? on Saturday evening. The Tenrit was that the Mayor required him to enter into recognizance in the sum of $300, for his appearnnen at the next term of the Circuit Courts which he did.Daniel Toy!or, charged with the same of. fence, was examined before D. Moss, Esq- a Justice of the Peace; and required to find bail in the same sum. Being unable to procure hail, he was committed to the jail to await his trail in the Circuit Court. βIt is not proper that we should express any opinion as to the guilt or innocence of these men, aa it might improperly influence the decision of their causes.
