Police Make Fast Arrest In RobberiesAlertness of Portsmouth po j lice Monday night resulted in | the arrest of three men with in minutes after armed robber ies at the Wilson Hotel and i Doc's CarryOut at Gallia St. and Mabert Rd.Charged with two counts' each of armed robbery are How ard Grooms. 20. and William B. Lavev. 18. both of 825 10th St.. and Billy Lancaster. 18, of 2718 Daniels Dr.The three entered no pleas this morning in Municipal Court and are to return to court Feb 1. They were returned to the county jail in lieu of $2,000 bond ’ each.Lt. William Heuls said good ; police work by the patrol divi sion in searching the area re 1 suited in the capture of three| men at 17th St. and Kendall Ave.The first robbery occurred! about 10:40 p.m. at the Wilson1 Hotel, where desk clerk Jim | Davis told police two men en tered and took $14 from the; cash drawer at gunpoint.About. 10 minutes later a man pulled a gun on Pam Stump at, Do( \s Carry Out and took $05 in jI cash.The three were arrested by j Lt.
