Police today said:• Regarding the shooting at the Fisher Food Co., it is probable that this man either lives or ‘ works or has lived or worked in ! this vicinity. We feel that the j interest displayed by the public, ' radio and newspaper might work ' to our advantage in apprehend-ing this person. Therefore, we 1 ask the public co-operation in ' furnishing any information about the following described person:“45-50 yrs. old - 5’ 11’* - 6’ tail | -160-170-lbs. - slender build, thin lace, wearing a dark jacket or suit coat, work type trousers. He was carrying a blue steel revolver, 38 caliber in belt in front of trousers, shooting a lead bullet called a wad cutter/ a blunt nose type of bullet used for tar-I get practice.| “This person is believed to have [dropped his cap in front of the j store during his escape. It is a dark blue denim peaked cap, size 7 or 7V8, of the baseball player or shop cap type. We have determined a similar cap is sold in the I Penney Co. in Sandusky.“Any information furnished about a person known to hav* been carrying a gun in the past, or wearing a shop type cap as ! described above and now not j wearing it will be appreciated and kept in strict confidence.i . ....
