W. Stevenson, John Shea, and Michael Cronan, cliarging them with refusing, when called upon, to assist him in the discharge of his duties as an officer. It appear* that Williams armed with a warrant for the arrest of Sam. Fiske, charged with striking Elijah Whitten with a large limestone rock, proceeded to a sahon on the Corydon road, early yesterday morning, where he found Fiske and several companions. He read the warrant in the presence of Fiske, com-imanding him to oley the writ. Fiske jerked away from Williams two or three times, whereupon he called on the bystanders, as a pomt romitatu*. to come to his assistance. Instead of ol»eying the summons, Stevenson is charged with taking the warrant out of the hands of Williams, ami it \fas afterward burned in the stove in the saloon.
