It Is alleged that ho elder Lcedsome loaded the revolver and placed it In the hands of tho bo£ and that ho told him to shoot Kirkendail. One version which reached the. prosecutor’s office was that he father threatened the son If he did not comply with his demand.The motion. It In claimed by the State, was an old neighborhood grudge, and It is alleged that Leed-somo, fearing to commit the crime himself, employed his son to commit the murder.Attornoy T. A. Brown, who has been retained by the defense In the case, said last evening that ho was confident there was nothing In the story that tho elder Leoasome was tt%* volved in the matter. He said that tho boy would testify that he was In no way encouraged by hla father. Th* boy’s testimony is expected to save the father, who is held without bond.
