The Richmond City Council has an. der consideration an appeal from the Musicians' Union urging the repeal ot an ordinance prohibiting public dances from operating after midnight In a petition to the council the musicians said that dancers % were being driven to attend dances in El Cerrito and other nearby cities, and that Richmond dance orchestras were being deprived of work as a result.
