No arrangement* for burial have been made, other than that the remains vriC be Interred in the Rock Falla cemetery beside his father and mother.Underwood’s body was found in a hotel Just outside the loop In Chicago. He had scribbled several notes, ' one to **my nearest relatives, and ' another which, read, ■ reasons: very discouraged over business reverses; all money lost; unable to get a job at any price. The Chicago police were told that Underwood had Inherited more than *500,000 and had squandered it the last five yaars.A sister, Mrs. Ida Underwood Ooahert of Chicago, claimed the dead man as her brother, and told j that he and his family had been 1 estranged. She said her brother Frank recently came to Chicago from' Moline, and endeavored to “straighten out the affairs of E. C. Underwood.J The parents of the suicide victimlived on a farm east of Rock Fallson the Dixon road, for a number of years. Later they retired from farming, moved into town and resided at 813 Third avenue, where the mother died about fifteen years ago.
