G-Bowles 011 it, presented the order to Hay os, the wood dealer near Hampshire and Eighth streets, reooived the money and decamped. Bradford boarded with Bowles, and when the fact came to his knowledge* that Hayes owed Bowles money, concoived the idea of putting his knowledge to practical bonefit for himself. It is thought that Bradford went across the river, whore he has been engaged in cutting wood.
