at the Associated Press COLORADO SPRINGS, Jan. 20 —The nude, strangled body of wusky Walter Joe Parsons, 18, was found today in the show-carpeted shadows of world famous Garder of the Gods on this resort city’s outskirts. Acting Police Chief Cy Close said the young laborer was appar ently the victim of a sex slayer. Finding of his partially frozen body spurred a search for Gerald Skel ton, 18, Colorado Springs youth missing for a week. The killing recalled frenzied sex auacks on two other young men here in the last year. Alvin Lee Bundy, 17, was sentenced to life for the sex-slaying of Jimmy Fox, 12. Richard Shanehan, 16, was near ly clubbed to trestle with a hall peen hammer last June 17 when he said he resisted efforts of a ‘burly man” to commit a sex perversion. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Boyce of Colo rado Springs found Parson's body about 3 p. m. lying face upward on an embankment. The body was nude except for stockings. The youth's shirt, shoes and belt were stuffed in his overall-type trousers. A red plaid jacket covered the other clo thing. There were large welts on his neck. Coroner Henry W. Mary said it appeared that the youth had been strangled “with something lke a rope and not by hands. The youth had been dead about 24 hours.
