It was signed “Mother. Brother and Aunt, Mrs. Wallace A. Bandy.“In memory of our loved ones, Lory and Ethel Price, who were taken from their homes two years ago tonight and slain in their helplessness by a band of outlaws who are now' too valuable to have their own worthless lives taken.“They have evaded the hangman's noose in this world, but they j must die and then they will face a j judge w ho knows all things and j doeth all things well. t“Then they will have lost their value.”Art Newman, Freddie Wooten. Riley Simmons and Leslie Simpson members of the Birger gang, pleaded guilty to the Price murders two j w-eeks ago and were sentenced to! Hfe imprisonment on their promise to clear up other gang crimes.
