Frank Green, who retired from the offioe of oounty treas nrer on the first of the year, wasappointed superintendent, snooeeding . Uapt. William Adams who was rednoedto patrolman.All of the officers ,and patrolmen as* sembled at the polioe station last night and at the request of the new board tendered their resignation whioh were aooepied and reappointments were given to the favored ones. Besides Superintendent Green the other new men are Frank Jasper, James Waterhouse and Arthur Carton. Those who retire from the department are Sergeant Fred Best, who was secretary of the old polioe board, and Patrolmen Jaoob Fess, A. D. Neafas and Benjamin Truman.The other offioers besides Superintendent Green are Jemes MoLanghlin, who retains his old position of day captain and in addition will be seoretary of the new board; Thomas Oannon, who remains as night oaptain in oharge of the night detail; G Wesley MoOnllooh, who oontinues m sergeant, and Frank Jasper, one of the new men. who is also made e sergeant.The patrolman are William Martin, Henry Pepper, Louis Klinestiver, Nioh-olas Beery, Thomas Spenoe, James Waterhouse, Arthur Oarson, John Wall, Harry Sinex and William Adams. The fonr members, who were let ont of the department, were Bepablioans. William Adams, who retired as superintendent, has been connected with the polioe department, with the exception of a few months, for the past sixteen years and bas been ohief under several administrationsl!
