SeardCONTINUED FROM 1AList week, the Special Operations Unit was called in to assistin extracting Seard from his cell at the Kerr County Jail after Seard tore a metal desk out ofthe wall, Hierholzer.according toAfter damaging his cell with a piece of metal from the desk, Seard reportedly refused repeated orders from jail personnel to drop to his knees, Hierholzer said, and gas and Tasers were used to bring Seard under control. Damage to the cell was estimated at $1,000, Hierholzer saidIn July, Seard allegedlygrabbed jail nurse Jane Kelley by the arm and pulled her towardhis cell after complaining of aheadache and requesting medication, resulting in an indictment of assault on a public servant. Then in August, Seardagain was charged with assaulton a public servant when ht attacked jail personnel anc assaulted Hierholzer. injuring the sheriff's left hand.Recently, Seard was accusedof spitting on a jailer at the jail.
