SCES THE EDITORS FOR $10,000.An Arkansas City Man Wants Pay for an Alleged Libelous Article..Arkansas City. Jan. 20.—W. B. Walton vs. H. B. Funk. F. C. Funk. L. C. Funk. Is the title of a suit that waa filed In the district court at Winfield by Attorney John Parman and Atkinson Pollard. In this suit the plaintiff asks for damage in the sum of $10.-000 from the defendants for damage* alleged to have been sustained by reason of slanderous articles printed In the Dally X-Ray of Arkansas City. This is‘the second suit for damages filed by Walton against the paper. The first suit was postponed until the spring term of the district court. The last suit is brought because of a® article which appeared about a year ago while Walton was In Virginia. The X-Ray took a shot at him and now he wants the publishers of that paper to pay for It.
