Sullivan Officers Take Over Greene CountySullivan County officers look on the role of good Samaritans Tuesday, taking charge of Greene County while deputies there attended the funeral of slain Constable Marshall Rader.For three hours, from 1 to 4 p.m., the Sullivan County men enforced the law, assisted by two deputies, from Washington County.'Rader,- 45, was killed when struck by a shotgun blast as he tried to serve two assault and battery warrants on Raymond A. Long, 45, who lived near jBulIs Gap. Long has been charged with the murder.The out-of-county force investigated one traffic accident, a reportedly stolen car, and “some fussin’ and feudin’, acordlng to one officer. The men included Sullivan County Investigator Athan “Buster” Brown, Deputy Gii Hodges, and Kingsport Policeman Joe Friday.
