Missoula, Jan. IS.—The widow of Haw Tabor, Colorado silver baron, whose story was woven into the film, “Silver Dollar/’ Is fighting to retain possession of the Matchless mine left by her once-wealthy husband, according to a ilipping from a Leadvllle paper received by Theodore Shoemaker. Mr. Shoemaker, now supervisor of the Lolo National forest, la a former resident of Lcadvllle and is well acquainted with the scenes of the picture.The clipping saya Mrs. Tabor, known as Baby Do*, feared to leave the mine even to see the film.• Hang onto the Matchless; silver will come back some day.” Tabor ;s said to have told her on his deathbed. She has been faithful to her uusband's advice although it has meant hardships, and now, with the property heavily mortgaged, she remains on it ‘ to prevent Ita falting out of her hands.
