HARRISON, Jan. 18—Strikers and strike sympathizers from ..various towna along the Missouri and North Arkansas began flocking into Harrison this morning, under assurance from the “Committee of 12” that they would be afforded adequate protection/There have been no. further resignations since yesterday • morning,.when former City Marshal Parr and 'Alderman George Minicus signed their names “on the dotted line” Mayor Clute haa not resigned, and neither has he refused to resign.Reports that Alderman Will Larimer and W. G. Daily had resigned are incorrect-All fear of further violence or setf-jous trouble has passed and Harrison is assuming a normal atmosphere. Residents of other towns and communities who had come here to aid, in the drive, are returning to their homes.The Harrison Rotary Club at its regular meeting today passed resolutions endorsing the citizens' committee and approving the work done by it since it was organised.'y*'Boone county officials, declare there will be vigorous prosecution of all against whom formal chargea are preferred.
