Jennie Noble baa brought suit against her husband. Joseph Noble, for divorce and alimony. In the petition she alleges that Noble hat been guilty of adultery and neglect, and she alio claims that on divers occasions he has struck, beat and choked her. Geo. E. The lady alleges that she fell and injured herself by reason of a defective sidewalk on East Middle street. She is poor and washes clothes for a living, Hathaway Kemper and Alexander Darnell represent her.In Jail.Joe Noble was arrested Monday morn ing charged with whipping his wife. He was tuken before the Mayor who required him to give a peace warrnnt of $100, but as he failed to give the bond he was locked up in the county house of detention.
