ALTON MURDERER DIESIN JOILIET PRISONJoliet, Jan. 18 (AP) jJohn Eldon Wells, 53, convicted of murder in Alton, died Tues-iay in Joliet prison. |Wells was convicted ot killing Orville Huson, a carnival worker, and was sent to the Menard prison in Februarv 1945. He was transferred to Joliet in 1948.
