Man Held by , Police Admits i Local Thefts '\San Francisco police today were lt;holding Harold Perry, 33, believed ^ to be responsible for 62 burglaries j in that city and, according to * Berkeley Police Inspector William ' Robinson, to have admitted four lt;Berkeley burglaries on Dec, 16.Robinson said the arrest of Perry cleared the mystery of the theft of a 200-pound cash register from a restaurant at 2956 College Ave. The register, valued at $500, later was found in Lake Temescal completely ruined. It : contained $50 at the time of thei| theft, but was empty when re-I covered.Other Berkeley entries included two taverns, one at 2800 San Pablo Ave., the* other at 3101 San Pablo Ave., and a grocery store at 2942 Domingo Ave. The establishment on Domingo Ave. was entered again last night and robbed ofliqquor.! — _
