upi*a-oflo.mllidhoheFloom, of Jackson township.FLOURING MILL BURNED.Two Dwellings Also on Fire at Sparta,Last Night.Between the hours of 9 and 10 o’clocklast night, the flouring mill at Sparta, in Pike township, owned by Jacob Conrad, and operated by Peter Kennedy, was burned to the ground, causing a loss of $10,000, with insurance amounting to $7,000. The mill had a capacity of from seventy-five to one hundredbarrels of flour per day. Two dwellinghouses adjoining the mill took lire, but3a^ the flames were extinguished before much damage was done.
