!sat3sIroaT^a Porto, Tnd., Jan. 15.—Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, arrested as the result of H confession of Hay Lamphero to Rev. | e Mr. Schell, was released today on $500 bond.The grand jury will be in session next week when it is expected there •will be a resumption of the investigation into the Gun ness ease.The Truelson confession may yet play an important part in the ease. This confession was made in May, 190S, by Julius Truelson of New York, now serving a term for forgery in the Texas state prison, and it was fullyInvestigated by Albert F. Smutser,then sheriff of porte county. j ITruelson claimed to have visited the Gun ness farm before the lire and he did much in the ease.
