Wants to be Constable.A petition signed by a number of business men and citizens of Concord township lias been filed with Auditor Berkey asking the appointment of David M. Willis as constable in the place of John Knowlton who has left for parts unknown. It is vaguely hinted ^that the action of the grand jury had something to do with tlu sudden departure of the otiieer who de parted withcut formally tendering bis resignation to the board of eommis sioners.
