River Belle BreakNets Thieves $400About $400 was stolen in a break early Saturday morning at the River Belie lounge at 10 Broadway.Entry was gained through a broken window on the south side of the building into the rest room sometime before 8; 30 a.m. when the break was repnrled. Two bags containing$400 in rolls of coins and bills were stolen.A rock was thrown through the window of a car parked at the east end of Ruggles Avenue yesterday afternoon, and a purse containing $40 in cash and personal items was stolen. Mrs. Barry Magruder of Washington, D.C., told police she left her car about 1;30 p.m. yesterday. When she returned to the car at 4:15 p.m., the right rear window was smashed and the purse was gone. The purse contained the cash, a checkbook, wallet, contact lenses, prescription sun glasses, credit cards a a pair of silver earrings.Twenty pennies were taken from the cash register in Quality Lunch at 25 Broadway in a break discovered by a patrolman about 4:30 this morning, A cigarette machine, pin-ball machine and money boxes were also broken into.Police said entry was gainedthrough a door on the Spring Street side of the building.
