He was halted byMontgomery, ^vho had managed ,to reach his revolver, and turtt ing started back to finish the work he had begun, Montgomery fired and the bullet ranged fromthe jaw through the brain and1 - • • • • *..... • 4immediately ended the attempted jail delivery.-The other prisoners did not, make any other attempt to! escape. Duvall was in jail on a felony charge. Montgomery although under the care of a physi-cian, is not regarded as in a serips condition.Duvall was taken from here to | • Olive Hill where his body was prepared for hurial. *He was buried Tuesday at two o'clock in the Eagle cemetery at ^ Olive Hill.
