District Attorney All Promises To Present Information to Grand Jury. PITTSBURGH, Jan. 3—(4)—The federal bureau of investigation sought tonight to have two men held at Boise, Idaho, returned to Pittsburgh to face kidnaping charges filed in con nection with the robbery last July of a Volant bank. The prisoners were Harold Brest, 27, who served a term for the black mailing of the late Mrs. F. H. Buhl, of Sharon, and Harry Logan, 28, of Pittsburgh, released on parole two years ago from a sentence for rob bery. Dante Delillo, assistant to the agent in charge of the bureau’s Pittsburgh office, disclosed the federal grand jury at Erie indicted the two for kidnap ing Delorma Lester Santee, a motor ist, last July 2 and taking him from Sharon to Youngstown. The indict ment charges they held up the man after the bank robbery then fled in an automobile. He said he favored prosecuting the men on the kidnaping charge because it carried a heavier penalty than bank robbery. District Attorney Charles F. Uhl said information charging the two with robbing the Volant bank may be preesnted tomorrow to the grand jury. Police Chief J. E. Harris at Boise said the men had admitted they robbed several banks and had wound ed two policemen in Holland, Mich., several weeks ago.
