Killed by Rolling PinAMHERST, N.S., Jan. 4—Mrs. Frank Scopie, of River Hebert was lodged in Cumberland County jail here tonight in connection with the death of Philip Landry, River Hebert horseman, who died Saturday of a fractured skull.Evidence given at the ihquest which returned a verdict of death following a blow on the head delivered By person or persosns unknown was that Landry, well-known as a driver on Maritime tracks, had been at the Scopie home-on New Year’s afternoon when the injury was sustained. He had been found wandering about in a bewil'dered manner thatnight.Leo Scopie admitted making thestatement that his mother had struck Landry with a rolling-pin.Dr. A. E.
