Pastime Embroidery ClubThe Pastime Embroidery Club' was entertained January 5, at the home of Mrs. E. A. Schmidt with ten members and two guests present.Letters were read from mem-bers, Mrs. Pearl Roberts in Wisconsin and Mrs. F. B. Bronn in Texas; also a letter from Eleanor Martin, formerly of Hawk-eye, who told of her visit to the Holy Land.Thank you notes for Christmas gifts were read from the Hillcrest Baby Fold at Counci/ Bluffs.A miscellaneous sale was held which netted $9.70.A white elephant sale will be held at the next meeting at the home of Mrs. Mattie Caraall. Roll call will be “Something pertaining to the month of February.
