iThreeAfter 4 CrashesFour traffic accidents investigated yesterday by city police resulted in the arrest of three drivers and property damage esti-ated at $400.John Sticker Baker, Nokomis,was charged with failure to stop for a stop street, and Clifford Allen Meyers, 263 Oak Street, was arrested for speeding by Patrolman J. C. Wingate following a collision that caused minordamage at Central and Third Street.Appearing in Municipal Court later in the day, Baker was fined $20 and Meyers was found notguilty.Glenn Edwin John, 54, 1677 Laurel Street, was arrested for'1failure to yield the right-of-way in an accident at Orange Avenue i and Golf Street, investigated by Patrolman William Riley- The John vehicle, headed east on Golfand making a right turn ontoOrange, struck a car driven by \ Pearl Virginia Adams McLeod, 64, of Regal Road. Damage was $25 to the McLeod auto, none to the John car.Patrolman Walter Polukewich investigated two accidents. One, at Fourth Street and Goodrich Avenue, caused $35 damage to a car driven by Ernest Raymond Hazeltine, 51, Clark Road, and a loss of $50 to a car operated by William Evert Borden, 16t Ocean Boulevard-A motorcycle driven by Dennis Alan Hess, 16, 2448 Browning Street, was involved in the other collision with a car operated by Charles E. Grote, 66, Oconee, 111. The crash, at Second Street and Central Avenue, resulted in $75 damage to t|ie motorcycle and $175 damage to the car.Police also received a report that $10 worth of accessories was stolen over the weekend from a car owned by Paul Bundy, 1462 Twenty-first Street. The car wasparked near his home.
