Word From Milroy Today Stated That Former Cashier WasStill MissingSHORTAGE OF FUNDSBELIEVED TO EXISTNo new developments resulted today in the affairs of the alleged disappearance of Lloyd Nelson, former cashier of the First National bank of Milroy. The Milroy man was said today to be still missing from his home, and had not been seen since early in the week.The bank had not prepared any statement today that would substantiate the rumors that a shortage of about $20,000 was believed to exist. The depositors in the bank are fully protected and the shortage will in no way affect them, it was stated.District Attorney Ward was consulted today by the press as-sociatioiuin connection with theaffair, and he stated that his office had not been notified of any affair at Milroy. He stated that if any report of examiners reachhim of a shortage, that action would be taken. /Nelson is well known throughout the county, and his disappearance from the community came lt;as quite a shock.
