West Baden, Ind., Jan. 10.—William Mahan and Sam Morgan, living on adjoining farms, yesterday began quarreling over a settlement of some business affairs. Morgan drew a revolver and fired two shots at Mahan, both of which took effect, one in the right side and the other in the hip. Main, fatally wounded, drew his gun and hred at Morgan, the shot taking effect in the left side near the heart, inflicting a mortal wound. The wounded men, both lying on the ground, continued shooting until their revolvers were emptied.
