Indict WhittakerFor Woman’s MurderGREENSBURG, Pa. lt;AP Lester Lee Whittaker, 41, of nearby Pleasant Unity, was indicted for murder Wednesday in the fatal shooting of Mrs. Marjorie Steving, 39, of Latrobe, R.D. 1, Unity Twp.Mrs. Steving was shot in the head with a .22 caliber rifle outside her home last Oct. 15. She died three days later in a Pittsburgh Hospital.In the indictment issued by a Westmoreland County grand jury, Whittaker was accused of firing the bullet after quarreling with Mrs. Steving over her alleged refusal to drive him home.The trial date was not set.
