to ou years, numi saiaJury Being Chosen Errol FlynnLOS ANGELES, Jan. 11—(INS)—Selection of a jury to try screen star Errol Flynn on charges of attacking two teen age girls began today after the defense had first attempted to gain a month’s continuance on the ground one of its material witnesses was absent.Defense attorneys withdrew their motion after a half hour’s consultation with Superior Judge Leslie E Still.It had been based on the fact that Hayward Kingsley, commander of Flynn’s yacht Sirocco at the time of the asserted offenses is in the navy and not now available.Selection of a jury panel began from a panel of 30, seventeen men and 13 women. Two of the latter are unmarried.Only a few spectators were able to get into the courtroom, which seats only 65. A large number of women had been on hand since 7:30 a. m., hoping to get a glimpse of the handsome actor.His accusers were flashingeyed, brunette Peggy Larue Sat-terle, her foot already on the first rung of a movie career, andblonde Betty Hansen, film-struckLincoln, Neb., waitress. Each is but 17.
