rieaas umity in Auto DeathA Inn Owen McPherson, 28, of Traverse City yesterday pleaded Etnlty to a charge of negligent homicide in the September 17 death of Gaylord O. Holmes, 31, or Tustin TZ. 2 in an automobile accident on Garfield road.The case was referred to the probation officer by Judge Charles Brown after the plea in Grand Traverse circuit court, where a jury trial of McPherson had been scheduled to start, today.According to police reports, McPherson was driver of a car which sideswiped one driven by Darrell Leonard Holmes. 21, of Tustin and in which Gaylord Holmes was a passenger. The small, foreign-make.
