Two Charged With Stealing PecansArrested in Conlgote, Returned to Ado, Accused Of Taking Four SocksVirgil Shannon and Sampy McDonald were arrested Thursday in Coalgate and returned to Ada where they were charged with larceny.The pair is alleged to have stolen four sacks of pecans.valued at $50 each, from storage at the Southern *Ice Company.Police Chief Quinton Blake said that the pair gained entrance to the building by applying force at a back window. After entering the building through the window, the two men removed the pecans through the same window.The pecans were stolen Sunday night and returned Thursday.Chief Blake said that Shannon lists his home as Stonewall and McDonald gave his home as Roff. Shannon previously has driven taxicabs in Ada and Seminole.
