The Deputy Minister of Justice, Summers, K.C., represented the Crown. The accused was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was granted. The defendant gave his own bond for $2,000 and two sureties of $1,000 each, Michael Quilty Sr., and Michael Quilty Jr., being the sureties. It is understood that the accused has retained Mr. W. J.
