Mrs. Frank Carter did not get licr divorce on Tuesday as she Imped. Judge Adair heard a part of Hie evidence in the ease and refused to grant the decree. He asked Mrs Carter if r.hc wrote the letter (referring to the one she directed to Miss Long), when she replied that she copied it. IVhen asked why she did so she said that Frank teased and begged of her to do so until slie finally consented-Carter’s case is to come off next week, we understand.
