Police PraisedSome recent police action prompts me to sing the praises ot district patrol officers credited In the Press — and several unidentified police personnel who have done a magnificent job behind the public headlines,1. Officer J, R, Hildebrand, for keeping cool and not removing the knife from the throat of a ra|e victim. He probably saved ■her life. And the undercover work which resulted in the fast arrest of a suspect,2. Officer Bill Kolieoscy, who caught a rapist In the act In a home.3. Officer Neal Mitchell, who caught a rapist and his victims in a moving vehicle soon after the act was committed.4. Officer Eddie Wright, for shooting a burglar in the act of robbery inside a store.5. Officer George Ramirez, for continuing to fire his gun, though wounded by the gunman he helped kill. A civilian, Juan R. Garza, and Officer William Ewell helped Ramirez,There Is a lot of top-flight police work being done in San Antonio.T. L. HAS8ROUCK.
